Every time there’s a new concert, we recruit hundreds and hundreds of singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers and keyboardists.
In the months leading up to the event, the Rockin1000 Gurus train the selected musicians (after the application process) through the project’s app, ensuring they’re ready to rock under the direction of a conductor.
LET’S ROCK!
ROCKIN’ 1000, the rock band that brings together a thousand talented musicians from all over the world, made its debut in Portugal in 2024 in an absolutely memorable event that sold out Leiria Stadium.
The contagious energy of a thousand guitars, basses, drums, and voices resonated in perfect harmony with the audience to the sound of the most iconic rock anthems.

XUTOS & PONTAPÉS
After the unforgettable success of the first edition, Rockin’1000 returns with many new surprises, and the first big reveal is the presence of TIM, the legendary voice of Portuguese rock, as a special guest.

ROCKIN’ 1000 Portugal brought together musicians from 23 countries to simultaneously perform timeless anthems that have shaped the history of rock: Nirvana, Metallica, Green Day, Rage Against the Machine, AC/DC, Muse, and Foo Fighters. The 2024 edition also featured special appearances by Nic Cester, lead singer of JET, and Portuguese musician Pedro Abrunhosa.
More than just a concert, this unique experience has already touched millions of people around the world!
